I really hope Trump doesn’t arrest Newsom. Not necessarily bc it’s horrible and authoritarian, but mainly bc if he does then Gavin Newsom would definitely become president.

It’s a good thing summers aren’t getting hotter every year and we won’t desperately need air conditioner parts in the hottest, most humid regions in the US.

Forever kicking myself for not searching for a better job in early 2022 than the one I had then. It was truly a great job market and I don't think we'll return to that much employee power for a while.
Bosses hated the Biden-era job market where they had to fight over employees instead of abusing them, so used their control over the media to turn inflation into the number one issue, predict a fake recession that never happened, and try to convince Americans to tank the economy. It worked.
The Indeed job postings index is down 2.5 points nationally since Jan 20, DC has fallen 10.6 points--the trend is continued cooling in labor demand
