While Trump continuously vilifies “people from mental institutions,” I spent Friday in one, having a New Year's party with gardening therapy participants. We discussed goals for the year and made fig jam from the fig trees on the hospital grounds.

My godfather's primary source of news is CBS. He had no idea about the Ellisons, Bari Weiss, Tony Dokoupil, & the making of the new state media. He was skeptical of my take at first, but he watched Tony's debut as CBS Evening News anchor & called his show the "Pete Hegseth Show with Tony Dokoupil."

I watched “It’s a Wonderful Life” and cried my eyes out like usual, and two things:
1) How do people watch this movie and continue to vote for Republicans?
2) We need an updated ending where we get some justice! Potter gets to steal $8,000 and get away with it?! WE NEED JUSTICE!
