I love loving things.
Pinned
They will do anything to steal your attention. Do not let them. Ignore the fuckers. Sing, dance, and create, every day. Make things. Give love. Be generous. Be kind. Focus on what brings you joy. Fuck them and their needy, insecure, hateful bullshit. You are in control of your attention. Always.
Raise your kids right so they too can have their fates decided by the most damaged, insecure, odious humans to ever walk the earth.

this is small comfort given he has state power and i don’t but i am struck by what an obviously weak and fragile man miller is. a blubbering piss baby whose entire affect and personality is an attempt to make up for his profound feelings of inadequacy
MILLER: The US is using its military to secure our interests unapologetically in our hemisphere. We're a superpower. It's absurd we'd allow a nation in our backyard to become a supplier of resources to our adversaries

TAPPER: Sovereign countries shouldn't be able to do what they want?

Oh, SCALDED stomach! I thought it would be something disgusting.
"McRib is actually made from restructured pork, combining cuts such as shoulder, heart, tripe, and scalded stomach"

McDonald’s faces class action lawsuit claiming McRib contains no actual rib meat
The lawsuit argues the McRib’s name and rib-shaped patty mislead consumers and seeks nationwide and state-specific class action status for purchases over the past four years

Just. Make. It. Opt. In.
'Arc Raiders' has now "aggression based matchmaking" based on how prone you are to PvP or PvE.

"So, if your preference is to do PvE, and you have less conflict with players, you'll get more matched up. Obviously it's not a full science."

A reminder that these people believe in one thing, power, and will do, say, or think anything to get it, so that they can use the state to unperson undesirables
amazing how the entire machine can pivot within 24 hours. no need to slowly upsell the argument; just issue new marching orders

The death toll from the attack on Venezuela is now at 80, per Venezuelan officials. That includes civilians. Every article about the attack, or how the US somehow claims it will run the country, should mention the fact that, you know, people died, including civilians. www.nytimes.com/live/2026/01...

Truly sincerely think that we will eventually think of LLM chatbot usage in the same way we think of leaded gasoline or cigarettes, a sort of ubiquitous miasma making everyone sicker and worse off. Some people are just still in the "my doctor told me to switch to lucky strikes" phase.

Kamala Harris would not have illegally bombed a foreign country and kidnapped their leader.

All folks had to do was use common sense in the voting booth but apparently that was a bridge too far🤷🏾‍♀️

If you did anything other than vote for Harris you helped get us to today.

babe wake up, they're doing insider trading on war crimes
“What appears to be a newly created account appeared to invest $30,000 Friday in Maduro's exit. After Maduro went into custody Saturday morning, that same investor netted $436,759.61.”
Someone made $400K by predicting Maduro's capture. Here's what happened
The winnings come as the rules governing prediction markets are still evolving.

Two things can be true:

1. This is a criminal and immoral act by the US.
2. That's it. Nothing else matters.

As you read the news today, watch who phrases the news as an "illegal invasion and regime change" versus "bringing democracy". It'll tell you everything you need to know about the news source you're reading, and frankly should decide whether you ever read them seriously again.

This is true in a broad and vague sense but it is also true that the US is a net exporter of oil and there is absolutely no actual resource pressure creating any real incentive to invade Venezuela. The oil isn't even worth it.
Allow me to connect some dots for you:

Too much of the world currently relies for its basic functions on resources which must be continuously extracted. You burn that oil one time and oops, now you need more.

Geopolitical horrors are, in fact, one of the reasons we need to move to renewables ASAP.

He is declaring a crime. Again.
Trump: "We're going to have our very large United States oil companies go in, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure and start making money for the country. And we are ready to stage a second and much larger attack if we need to do so."
