So if I understand the White House's position re: Epstein files it is that the files are all a Democrat hoax and also they provide a load of evidence that Democrats committed serious crimes.

So that's cleared things up.

Protests lead to change. The more people who protest, the more other people feel safe to also join protests. Once protests are made up of every kind of person, the police/military are much less likely to crack down on them. Which robs authoritarians of muscle. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Fun fact about Nigeria: they recently shut down a lot of car battery recycling outfits to conduct tests.

Tests to study the large amount of lead being let off by these companies, poisoning the local populations.

These companies? US automakers that refuse to start certification programs.

People have pointed out that AI is meaningless: people use the word to refer to such as

- the scripts controlling the behaviour of video game enemies
- the calculations used to clean data from a signal
- the machine that encourages people to kill themselves via generated CSAM

etc. It's too broad.

It’s Day 20 of the ICE occupation of the Twin Cities.

Today, as rumors continue to swirl about a major ICE surge in the Twin Cities, we are reminded of the power of community.

Keep your whistle with you, and be ready to step up at any time. We know that ICE flees at the first sign of resistance.

The biggest threat to social cohesion is the lack of affordable housing NOT immigration. Immigrants are not paying 1M€ plus for a mediocre end of terrace 3 bed in Rathfarnham. They’re not buying fancy apartments around Dublin.

We need to invest in social/affordable housing or we are fucked.
