The media doesn't treat the Trump regime's allegiances with neo-Nazis like Nick Fuentes as antisemitism, but Zohran's belief in Palestinian liberation is treated as antisemitism.

It's completely backwards and insane. Zohran will protect American Jews; the fascists will target American Jews.
WELKER: What is your message to Jewish New Yorkers who feel you won't be tough enough in your response to antisemitism?

MAMDANI: That I am looking forward to being the next mayor and fulfilling the commitment I've made to Jewish New Yorkers to not only protect them but to celebrate and cherish them

The plan was leaked by the Russians and no one in America’s historically inept administration knew what anyone else was doing so people started getting behind it because they thought it was official policy.

Putin totally played the US, knowing full well he was up against incompetents and idiots.

A problem is that Rubio had an entire 24 hour news cycle to disavow this story. The lead story on many news sites. Calls from freaked out Europeans. Just because he wasn’t at the G20 doesn’t mean he wasn’t aware.
Rounds: Senator Shaheen mentioned that Secretary Rubio did make a phone call to us this afternoon. I think he made it very clear that we are the recipients of a proposal that was delivered to one of our representatives. It is not our recommendation. It is not our peace plan.

When even the guy who did the brutal murder is weirded out by your defense of him and awkwardly tries to intervene with his preferred talking points, which are very much not "so what that scumbag deserved it."
Reporter to MBS: "U.S. intelligence concluded that you orchestrated the brutal murder of a journalist..."

Trump: "Fake news...He's done a phenomenal job. You're mentioning someone who was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about…things happen."

The staying power of this and the actual political threat it’s posed to trump has honestly stunned me

No, I am not placing a bet on it finally being the thing that brings him down politically, BUT that this won’t just go away is fascinating me, and infuriating the nominal leader of the free world.
NEWS: Ro Khanna tells us *50 Republicans* may be set to join him, Thomas Massie, and Democrats in voting to release the Epstein files.

Perhaps explains why Trump is now spinning out of control, attacking Republicans like Massie and MTG who are joining Democrats in responding to the public demand.

single member districts are bad
I'm going to die on the hill that Utah's redistricting outcome is actually bad for democracy.

We don't have a single competitive congressional district which means parties can retreat to polarizing treatment of each other rather than build roots in communities in order to win close races.
For decades, any Utah Democrat who wanted to go to Congress had to campaign as a moderate or conservative. Now that the state has a solidly blue congressional seat, though, running as a progressive is suddenly an effective strategy.
