This should be an obvious thing that other Democrats hold over Schumer’s head…it’s obvious that this is not going to get done, and they just gave up their leverage.
If a budget deal goes through without restoring Medicaid & ACA subsidies, they will never be restored.
That's a death sentence for millions of Americans but also to the entire republic and economy: Health care is a for-profit business generating TREMENDOUS economic activity & will grind to a halt.

Democrats have to stop bailing out Republicans from facing the consequences of their own policies. And yeah, that means they have to stop sparing voters from experiencing what GOP government truly means.

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays
