The problem with ICE is not that it's targeting people who aren't criminals. The problem with ICE is that it's an unaccountable secret deportation police. It cannot be reformed under a better president. It can be made less terrible, but the instrument of repression remains for the next tyrant.

Despite having two mild cases, I still wear a mask in some places. Why? Because even this those cases were mild, THEY FUCKING SUCKED. Even mild COVID makes you miserable for days to weeks, who wants that?
I don’t know, I thought after Long Covid effectively ended my chance at a directing career, ruined my health, my energy, my ability to eat a lot of foods, and my body, it would seem pretty obvious why I don’t want to get it again, even going so far as to sacrifice (the horror!) bars and restaurants.

Congress authorizes the maintenance of bases and requires that they also be available for Scouting. If the DoD doesn't provide that service anymore, then there should be a corresponding reduction in DoD base maintenance funding.

This PR is like the perfect distillation of LLM-assisted hubris. Dev who has never written a compiler or even studied the DWARF spec vibe codes out 13k LOC of "support" in OCaml with a bunch of shallow test cases, and doesn't think he needs to understand his own PR because "Claude understands it!"
One of the many joys of using AI for programming is the creation of huge PRs on complex topics that the authors barely understand, but still suggest "because they work". Here's a great example from #OCaml github.com/ocaml/ocaml/...
