If anyone going to #PAXU wants a recommendation for great Malaysian food, Banana Leaf Malaysian Cuisine rules. It's authentic, and exactly the sort of food I remember from my childhood in Singapore/Malaysia.

That's literally the only way Eleizer Yudkowsky knows how to write, because his entire belief system is so absurd it can only seem plausible if described in parables and references to movies or video games
Jesus this book is tedious. The authors like to explain everything through little made up fables and fictional dialog between anthropomorphized characters. Just skipping page after page of nonsense writing.

my mom taught me there's two kinds of businesses: hot dog stands and art galleries
- hot dog stands protect territory and keep competition off their turf
- art galleries benefit from more adjacent art galleries, cluster together to amplify reach/support

Play and discuss as if you were friends trying to get to know each other better, rather than as if you were rival squawking merchants trying to sell competing goods in a marketplace. The world is full of friends and potential friends, and it's much lonelier and more frightening when it isn't.

Honestly can't think of a product I'm more excited for. Mutants and Masterminds 3e was formative as hell for me, and I'm hype to see what 4e brings to the table.
The word is OUT #TTRPG! I can finally say that I've been working on a fourth edition of Mutants & Masterminds and that an "Origin" playtest edition is releasing in PDF and a limited print run at the end of the month for Gen Con! Stay tuned to @greenroninpub.bsky.social and to M&M Monday for more!

The cruelty in today's politics feels horribly corrosive. Bringing up that hard-working immigrant families — undocumented, yes, but not violent criminals — are being ripped apart based on immigration status doesn't bring compassion or even pause, but gleeful cheers.
