Remarkable book. I found it hard to put down. Such a clear, spare style of writing and felt bereft for the protagonist by the end.

Another nice example of centre and left votes lining up behind the best candidate to beat Reform.
Bromsgrove South (Worcestershire) Council By-Election Result:

🔶 LDM: 51.9% (+20.3)
➡️ RFM: 33.4% (-1.5)
🌳 CON: 11.3% (-5.8)

Like a reverse Trigger's broom, how many Tory defectors can Reform UK take on before it's just the same old failed Tory Party that the British people rejected at the ballot box, in a new colour?

Reform UK aren't anything new. They're just recycled Tories.

Was quite interested in what Zack Polanski was saying a few weeks ago. Now he just seems to be attacking Kier Starmer very unpleasantly. Let's debate in a decent manner.
Excellent taste from @radiotimes.bsky.social who chose Bold Politics with @zackpolanski.bsky.social as their podcast pick of the week!

Very happy to consider the Greens at the next election but won't be able to vote for them if the policy is to leave NATO. Also wouldn't vote for Green if linked to Jeremy Corbyn.
