I must briefly be an Art History Student here: the process of digitizing an Impressionist painting in this way completely changes the context Impressionism itself. A low-res GIF file is small enough that the tiny paint pips become invisible, but are in turn, replaced by larger pixels.

Needing to rip some more Blu-Rays in this batch of movies, and it occurs to me I have never plugged the BD-R drive into the current desk machine. Which means MakeMKV isn't installed. Which means I gotta compile it again.
