I genuinely think that one of the reasons the genesis/megadrive is beloved by homebrew devs is not having to worry about bank switching (at least until the rom gets real big). game boy dev is fun until you need 32kb... so you expand to banks... and then you inevitably need more than 16k code...

1. it's objectively neat. It's a genuine achievement. it's crazy that we can do this.
2. the costs are too high (social, economic, our health and environment and so on) to justify its use
3. it's useless! all this to create a badly edited clip of two guys not hitting each other

we're at the point where clowns are having their llms write callout posts when their llm contributions are rejected. i do not think it is physically possible to bully pro-AI people enough
