"The corruption is absolutely staggering". One can only hope for future accountability.
The corruption is absolutely staggering. One big money donor after another receiving direct benefits in return. Trump didn’t drain any swamps, he created a giant sewer to roll around in daily. Great reporting. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Yes, Republicans prefer Russian autocracy over European democracy. Let that sink in.
“This is not America having priorities that don’t involve Europe. It is not isolationism. It is America taking sides with Russia against Europe, because one of America’s two political parties now sees Russian autocracy as preferable to European democracy.”

GLASHEEN: Antifa is our primary concern right now. That's the most immediate violent threat we're facing

BENNIE THOMPSON: Where is antifa headquartered?

GLASHEEN: ... ... ... we are building out the infrastructure right now

Time for Jeffries to step down in favor of someone who simply does the right thing. Republicans may block it. Put them on record.
For some reason Democratic leaders seem to prefer telling voters what they won’t be able to do, rather than what they’d like to do.

If Hegseth ordered a war crime and lied about it, shouldn’t Ds try for impeachment? Put Rs on the spot. They might get a few defections.

Jeffries says not to expect Democrats to pursue Hegseth impeachment over boat strikes
"Republicans will never allow articles of impeachment to be brought to the floor," he said.

Teach critical thinking. First step..turn off Fox "News".
In 2022, Biden earmarked billions of dollars to help former coal communities. It was the largest investment in Appalachia since LBJ's 1960s’ war on poverty.

But Trump won West Virginia 70% to 28% in 2024. And now he's taking away the funding Biden gave them.

When are they going to learn?

It's a bubble. Study the dot-com bust of 2000.. same thing. OpenAI is the worst offender. But it is way over invested just like the telecom/fiber optic/internet boom of the late 90's and early 2000's. I was there in Lucent, the darling of the dot com bust. Patterns exactly match.
"All of this falls apart if humans don't adopt the tech. This is why you've seen Meta cram its lame chatbots into WhatsApp and Instagram. This is why Notepad and Paint now have useless Copilot buttons on Windows. This is why Google Gemini wants to "help you" read and reply to your emails."
Analysis: OpenAI is a loss-making machine, how can it survive?
Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?

Gee, Marco the Prophet. May he crash and burn with all the Magats
Marco Rubio knew the truth 9 years ago, but he sold his soul for power. Yet he was correct: He will one day have to explain his support for Trump, and this is not going to end well.

This needs to be more widespread. Corporate giants employ, yes employ America’s poor. They must pay a living wage.
The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."

This gives me hope for the future. I can see this in my own grandsons and it is a great positive as I often have to interact with boomer red hats.
Those claiming Dems should retreat on racial justice aren't hard-headed realists, they're pushing against the electoral tide rather than leaning into it. The story of Gen Z isn't about racist backlash or red-pilled young men. It's the most racially progressive generation in American history. 🧵

Has anyone yet just sat down and written up a draft Articles of Impeachment just to see how many pages are needed?
I love that every foreign country knows all you have to do is tell Trump he's the best President ever and give him a gold bar. Like we can be bought for nothing now. No need for ambassadors or advisors anymore. Just bring Trump some gold and he'll let us drill in the middle of Yellowstone Park

The corruption in my home state has not abated even after many folks went to jail. To me, it's simple: gerrymandering -> GOP super majority -> corruption everywhere
As it was in the midst of financing a $61 million bribery scheme, FirstEnergy also improperly claimed millions in construction expenses. Now the utility is asking Ohio regulators for permission to charge its customers for the $108 million in errors. ohiocapitaljournal.com/2025/11/14/r...

The president is experiencing OBVIOUS mental and physical decline. Pre$$ ignores. He barks about a third term, and the press asks how he'll do it, rather than pointing out that it's unconstitutional. That's not legal.

Oligarchs purchased the news media and it died.

Corporate news is a cancer.

Been there for sure. But many are saying we need to not hate the MAGAs but listen to them and gradually help them see how they are getting screwed by Trump. Then they may turn on him. It's tough but I get the logic.

This is truly the most pathetic aspect of the situation.
Your regular reminder that Republicans in Congress could stop this at literally any moment they choose.
September 28, 2025 at 7:17 AM
Pretty much point on. Also add fear and anger into that mix. Watch any Fox story and then ask yourself - would a MAGA type come away from that story being angry and fearful? Answer is usually yes. Example - Be afraid that immigrants and violent and angry that they stole your job.
