This post makes no sense, what battles do we have to choose between? I promise you I have the bandwidth to hate all AI, it's not a finite resource that I have to dole out sparingly. The wellspring of hate and vitriol I draw my feelings on AI from will outlast the heat death of the universe.

Picking battles is very easy actually, if a game uses generative AI it can go in the trash, where it goes after that is none of my concern. If a CEO insists on planting his feet firmly on the side of using gen AI he can live with the consequences of his actions. I am not obligated to buy anything.

The fact that the games industry is so dead-set on disregarding Concept Art as being part of the game it helps make is eternally frustrating to me.
If the slop machine extrudes a design for you that you then force an artist to make "real", that still means there's AI generated content in the game.
