Kpop multi fan 💎, HQ🏐, my life, mostly though. I like crosswords and stories about spies. Viet-Australian. I was there when it was written.
My very first email address was 'lestatgirl@hotmail.com'. Sure I've grown since then and it's been 30 years but

Among the greatest promotional photos of all time are these for the 1990 television movie of IT, where it looks like a prestige legal drama about a firm of hot young lawyers and one associate who likes to dress up like a clown.

I have been devastated every time I've seen a photo of him at sdcc and I've been a card carrying Louis-hater for almost thirty years
jacob anderson is so luminously beautiful it's like when adolescent fanfic writers attempt to describe an elf

It's my birthday and lots of lovely things have happened but one negative thing has happened and I am SO ANNOYED

Toby's macbook pro that cost 2.5k. I fixed the screen Liam broke for 1.5k.

Now Toby has spilt liquid in the usb port somehow and they want $2.2k to fix it?

Nope. Nope.

As part of my mid life crisis I'm now in my self-help book era.

Anyone got a self help book that they really liked?

Mine is 'How to Keep House While Drowning' by KC Davis. It's a really really kind, practical book that uncouples chores from morals and has changed my life and shame spirals

I was explaining to my Ukrainian colleague the phrase ‘There’s no such thing as a free lunch’. She told me the equivalent in Ukrainian is ‘The only free cheese is in the mousetrap’ - which is so much better

We had Viennetta last night for my niece's 16th birthday and I don't know if I've changed or it's changed but it was so bad.

It's basically ice. No cream, the chocolate is barely chocolate. How did we think this was so fancy as children? Were we all collectively poor?

Things I am accepting about myself upon my 43rd birthday - I will never cook dinner on weekends. It will never happen. No amount of money saved will make it worth cooking or not getting to eat out

So I need to adjust my budget accordingly as a non negotiable and stop feeling guilty about it

It's 5am and I can hear a child crying, not a baby, and I can't tell where from and it's upsetting me so much I can't sleep

They're not screaming, they don't sound scared, they're just crying and there's the muffled sound of an adult talking calmly... Idk

I don't normally hear my neighbours

I've spent the past four months being really stressed and anxious but it's my birthday week and I'm just going to... Stop it.

I've put art work I've been holding onto for years in frames! I will hang them up this week

I'm going to accept I'm not terrible at my job!

Two people at Adam's work have now said 'hang on, I know someone with your name. Are you married to a Tina? She used to post about you online a lot' 🙃

Makes me realise I haven't posted about anything for ages

You know when you've been off socials so long nothing seems worth posting about

Today my dining room smells like cat pee and I cannot find the source.

I mean I know the source is Kiki but where DID SHE PEE

Actually the best life advice I ever got: Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly. A half-cleaned room is better than an uncleaned room. Occasionally flossing is better than never flossing. A 10-minute workout is better than no workout. When it’s all you can do to get out of bed, get out of bed.

three million years ago somebody picked up a rock because it looked like a little face and held onto it

This is older than any god this is who we truly are
one of my favorite archaeology terms is "manuport" which just means a thing (rock, animal, stick, etc) that's in a weird place because a prehistoric human picked it up and carried it there. this one is estimated to be 3 million years old

Do you ever look at half the Archibald finalists and go 'huh. I could have done that for sure.' or am I just very art-illiterate

Name a more awful video game villain than the 2010 boyfriend in 'Unpacking'.

You can't. He's the absolute worst and I enjoy stabbing thumb tacks through his face.
