Nick Hanauer has been saying this for years.

Commentary I’ve seen today:
healthcare in the US is so expensive because doctors and hospitals charge so much.
CEOs in all industries are scared they might need to hire security for them and their families.
What I haven’t seen: self-reflection from CEO

when you stop reading "believe women" as "women never lie" and see it as "one of the foundational myths of patriarchy is that women can never be trusted" it makes a lot more sense.

Treat all celebrity announcements on Blue Sky like they are entirely questionable until they are verified by another verified media account.

Misinformation is a media campaign , also if you don’t know ask

You can be discursive

Worry less about “not spreading” and more about getting context
❌ Watch out for impersonation accounts!

This deepfake of Mark Wahlberg appeared on Bsky linked to a channel impersonating the actor.

The deepfake was taken from a clip uploaded by the actor in March on his Instagram about a screening of his movie, Arthur The King: www.instagram.com/p/C4iSFazL5N...

With an incoming administration that seems to use a habit of sexual assault as a prerequisite for a job, now is a great time to remember you can just say, "A woman said he assaulted her." "Allegedly" not needed.
I'm trying to read about the police report, re: sexual assault and Hegseth, and it's inspired me to re-post, once more, the brilliant @dianamoskovitz.bsky.social's long and important take on why you don't need to use the word "alleged" or "allegedly" deadspin.com/against-alle...

There is no scientific or medical evidence base to support the notion that mifepristone and misoprostol are dangerous or should be regulated as controlled substances, which federal law describes as drugs that have “potential for abuse.”

But that hasn’t stopped Republicans:
Texas may be next state to restrict abortion pills as “controlled substances”
Republican legislator Pat Curry has introduced a bill seeking to follow in Louisiana's footsteps—despite warnings from doctors.
