Genuine q: if the US is banning “foreign adversary controlled application[s]” as stated in bill H.R.7521 (Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act), why can’t Bytedance just sell TT to a non adversary country? Why is everyone talking as if it’ll surely go to the USA??

When I was young, I didn’t know I was autistic. I read all the time. I read on the way to school and at break times. I read all day. It was my way of escaping a world I found too difficult to process and cope with. Books were my way of putting up a barrier to cope with the world.
