Trump dozes while Marco Rubio speaks to him directly next to him. Just insane optics.

I've felt ever since J6 that we needed to have a Truth and Reconciliation Commission like they did after ending apartheid in South Africa. That ship has sailed and now our national realities are splintering even further. This country will never be the same. Probably just time for a red-blue divorce.
With every passing day, America needs a bigger third reconstruction.

Imagine trying to convince someone a decade ago that this sentence would be a 100% literally accurate description of the American political situation.
The attorney general and the FBI director, a manosphere podcaster bro, pulled into the situation room a member of Congress best known for getting kicked out of a Beetlejuice musical for drunkenly giving her date a handy, in order to pressure her about the president's child sex trafficking scandal.

For the umpteenth time: The most obvious answer is most always the correct answer. Donald Trump most likely was a client in Epstein’s pedophilia ring, and Trump most likely sexually abused & victimized young girls. That’s always been the most obvious answer here.

So the party line from Trump and Republicans is that it's Democrats' fault people aren't getting their SNAP benefits while actively appealing and breaking court orders to pay those benefits. Sure doesn't seem like a smart strategy to me...
The Trump administration moved on Friday to deny swift and full food stamp payments to millions of low-income Americans, as it asked a federal appeals court to halt a judge’s recent order that would preserve those benefits during the shutdown.

The appeal comes one day after a judge sharply attacked the White House for politicizing the anti-hunger program

This is a kinda hot take here but maybe Schumer didn’t endorse Mamdani or anything because he didn’t want to hurt his campaign by connecting it to a party leader/brand that is exceedingly unpopular across the political spectrum
