Just be happy for Mike Macdonald. Don’t second-guess the past.

This month, the Orioles took the clock down from atop the scoreboard so it can undergo a complete refurbishment, which it hasn’t received since it went up more than 30 years ago.

Please don't report this as a straightforward business story; it's a story about coercive social transformation being imposed by people so rich they've ceased to see the rest of us as legitimate stakeholders in our own lives

Make no mistake, the layoffs at the Post hurt readers the most. I grieve for my sports colleagues that helped describe the societal fabric sports reveal. But on a basic level of holding institutions and power accountable, and uplifting the stories and problems of everyday people, this is a travesty.

Jeff Bezos’ management of the Post is representative of how America has swung from For The People to For The Rich.

Bezos promised valiant stewardship of an important democratic institution, but lost interest. When he started meddling, he hurt the business. Now he’s firing people for *his* choices.

Thought it was hard for your school to reopen after the storm? The state's only school serving blind students had to de-ice thousands of feet of sidewalk while stuck beholden to surrounding districts' closure decisions. Plus, they're not allowed to go virtual. www.thebanner.com/education/k-...
Iced sidewalks, no buses: How Maryland School for the Blind finally reopened
Reopening was complex for the Maryland School for the Blind in Northeast Baltimore, where over 200 students with visual disabilities, some of whom use wheelchairs or canes to get around, go to school.

Of the listings on Jesse Minter’s résumé, his 2021 stint at Vanderbilt is what you would skip over.

Don’t.

The Commodores went 2-10 and were one of the country’s worst defenses. But for Minter (and Vanderbilt), that season still echoes in surprising ways: www.thebanner.com/sports/raven...
