Research Institutions that drove American innovation and industry are being systematically destroyed.
While China graduates yearly as many engineers as exist in America, we’re destroying universities because they’re too “woke”.

Exactly this. It's the fascism, stupid.
Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

This is anti-democratic
The fact that the world’s richest man works at the behest of the executive and can buy out the legislature is massively outside the scope of what the framers could have imagined

there’s is simply no constitutional measure that can guard against something like this

How many signs of democratic collapse do we need?

A push to impeach judges not for misconduct but defying Trump? Refusal to honor a court order to turn around planes? Trump invoking the Alien Enemies Act outside wartime? A budget clearing him to ignore Congress? Jailing students?

The list goes on.

The good news for Trump is major media continues to obscure the identities of his personal attorneys, calling Pam Bondi the former Florida Attorney General rather than a Trump personal attorney, Kash Patel a former Pentagon aide rather than a Trump personal attorney, and so on.

This was the point all along. From Reagan to now: destroy government so you can sell it off and profit.
Gvmt services aren't meant to make profits! Our taxes fund community services (fire/police/mail etc). Elon wants a world where your house is on fire but the private FD won't come because you don't qualify or haven't paid your bill. Like private health insurance! And Elon wants to own the company.
Elon Musk suggests that the U.S. government should privatize "as much as possible," including Amtrak and the U.S. Postal Service, according to a source.

Musk was speaking in a virtual appearance at a Morgan Stanley technology conference.

The GOP destruction of our country
NEW—Dept of Ed staff received an email from Sec. McMahon tonight with the subject, “Our Department’s Final Mission.”

McMahon writes that plan is, “to send education back to the states.” Notably doesn’t mention executive order like earlier draft, but some think it’s still coming.
