The U.S. Coast Guard said Monday it is seeking a new training center location to help it reach its goal of adding up to 15,000 more personnel. The initiative comes after the service reported it had exceeded its recruiting goal for fiscal 2025.

An annual Remembrance Sunday ceremony at Durnbach War Cemetery drew about 100 attendees, including U.S. Army Maj. Adam Moore and his family, to pay their respects to four American service members and roughly 3,000 Allied troops who died in southern Germany during World War II.
