MyTaxReceipt shows you a breakdown of how your U.S. federal taxes get spent — enter your Zip code and the amount you paid in Federal taxes (or you can use the default average for your Zip code). It generates a receipt-style summary showing what portion goes to defense, healthcare, interest on debt..

He looks like he wants to tell a ridiculously bad joke
The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

Hi other tech folks! Does anyone have recommendations for trans-friendly recruiters on the West Coast?

I’m a lead product manager with around a decade of experience. Looking to shift back to a salaried position after consulting the last couple years.

Reposts appreciated, thanks!

If you feel weird about being festive when the world's like this, we wrote a book for you about celebrating Christmas under a dictator.

It wasn't a religious holiday in the days of curfew in Korea, it was an act of resistance.

Here's an antifascist Christmas carol from No Rules Tonight.
