I wish we could create a new global calendar system that coincided with the actual seasons we experience.
Instead of 12 months there would just be 4 months that would last until the next season. The experience of time and the "new year" feels more natural in that way.

I've been working on my arachnophobia for the past seven years. And today, I rescued a spider that was smaller than a grain of rice out of my sink and relocated them to a plant outside instead of squishing them.

Maybe I should've complained earlier because the sun has finally broken through the fog right now!! LOL
It's amazing to see the blueness of the sky, and the feel of the sun kissing my face once again 😭😭😭

I thought I was misremembering previous winters here in the Central Valley, but apparently it's abnormal for the Tule Fog to just be parked here literally 24/7 for almost a month LOL
Usually, the fog burns off later in the day and returns in the early AM but since November it's just been grey.
