You can't buy this cup anymore, but I still have a few other woodfired pieces for sale. These are extremely special because I can only make a few of them a year and the process to fire them takes at least 24 hours and uses an entire winter's worth of wood

Coyote and Owl Friend Totem 🐺✨🦉✨

This is another gift I made for a friend this past year.
I also made them this special keepsake box for their piece so that they could safely go on travel adventures. ✨💖

And it also has a handmade red tassel hanging from it’s mouth. This piece is standing on top of a wooden box with a fancy handle and closure. The second image shows the inside of the box with the piece laying on it’s side on top of cushions and pillows handmade out of a red silk-like fabric with a floral dragon embroidered design. There is also a cushion pillow in the top of the lid of the box as well.

I wish we could create a new global calendar system that coincided with the actual seasons we experience.
Instead of 12 months there would just be 4 months that would last until the next season. The experience of time and the "new year" feels more natural in that way.
