Excited for a two-way bike lane on Grand St. It'd be more useful if it didn't close for 2.5 weeks every fall for the San Gennaro street fair (currently in effect, hence my grumpy reaction to a generally solid plan).
The city plans to widen Canal Street's clogged sidewalks with paint and install a crosstown two-way bike lane, largely on nearby Grand Street, next summer. nyc.streetsblog.org/2025/09/12/d...

I mean, I thought they fled when de Blasio was elected and then again in covid and then when BLM "burned the city to the ground." Also when AOC blocked Amazon's HQ. And from the UWS when migrants were housed in that hotel.
