For the first time in 30 years, rail fares are to be frozen and will NOT be increased in January.
It will save some people hundreds of pounds a year compared to if prices had risen as usual.

This is bloody shameful. We have historically had lower levels of taxation than these countries and this is the result:

I’m not clicking on x.com so I’m not sure what you mean. The universality of this new breakfast programme is to be commended. Children dining together as equals is a good thing (i.e., poor kids not stigmatised as needy). Wealthier parents might appreciate the time savings. I like it 🙂
