X has seen a decent decline in UK users, but still too many people still on there…
More evidence, if it were needed, that the X algorithm is having political consequences - skewing content and shifting people's attitudes to the right. If you are still on the platform, and using the algorithmic feed, then you are being manipulated by Elon Musk. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Muhammad Yusuf got completely floored by Victoria Derbyshire.

As do I
It’s almost a year since we learned that Farage’s girlfriend had nearly a mill Swilling around in cash to buy a house in Frinton.

In all that time not one super sleuth has found out how she had all that money.

I find that suspicious. Still.

Indeed, Reform are disaster capitalists looking to damage the U.K. economy & privatise services, so their backers can buy assets on the cheap

Victoria Derbyshire humiliates Zia Yusuf on Reform UK's plan to scrap the Equalities Act, because, as she reads each of the things from the Equalities act he confirms they'll still be protected 🤷‍♂️

The disdain is palpable.

Classic elite behaviour.

How dare someone question my views, it’s beneath me to speak to these people.

Just another bunch of Toffs pretending to speak for the common person
Nigel Farage lashes out at a FT journalist and refuses to answer the question.

Is this how Reform UK would ignore media questions if they got into government?

Hungary, please please please reject Orban in April!
Worth noting that the only two European capitals on Rubio’s post-Munich tour were Budapest and Bratislava. Orbán and Fico. This is the NSS in action: “cultivating resistance within European nations”. And it’s probably just the beginning.

Very interesting thread.
🧵In today’s Times @joshglancy.bsky.social has a brilliant write up of our focus groups he sat in on. Definitely read it in full! But I want to focus on two voters: Kylie & Eve I think have outsized importance in explaining today’s politics

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski just schooled Czech Deputy Prime Minister Petr Macinka into accepting that the European Union operates as a democracy.

Populists have nowhere to hide when met with hard facts.

An extraordinary exchange. Well worth a watch.

Very important that more people understand this.
Russia is flooding Britain with disinformation to divide us and drive us to extremes.

Experts say we are on the front line of an information war. While they use digital weapons, our response is still analogue. This is an urgent national security threat.

The general public may not be there yet.

But Starmer focused on what should be the #1 issues for voters….. Russia, defence, and NATO
A copy of our PMs speech to be delivered in Europe tomorrow. The only British Leader capable of delivering on the world stage.

I’m thankful we have him rebuilding our future with our European family.

We still talk about Starmer's speech that used a different phase to Powell, and had a very different meaning.

Strangely we don't talk about Farage fully endorsing Powell's message, agreeing with the meaning, and claiming he wasn't a racist (I guess like with his school mates, 'there was no intent')
"I would never say that Powell was racist in any way at all. Had we listened to him, we would have much better race relations now than we have got" (Nigel Farage on Enoch Powell, Total Politics, 2008).

London is a wonderful multi-cultural success of a city.

He a lying charlatan, who treated taxpayers with contempt.

Habitual liars lie. It's no deeper than that.
