…..The Met has also solved 92 per cent more shoplifting cases this year.

Well done @london.gov.uk

“This is alongside over £50 billion of private investment announced into clean energy industries since last July, with the clean energy workforce set to double to more than 800,000 people by the end of the decade”
Climate plan captures clean energy benefits and boosts investment
Working families and businesses will benefit from clean energy and climate action, as the government seizes the opportunities of the clean energy economy.

Progressive, positive and principled eh?

Funny how the really vehemently anti-Labour voices frequently turn out to be pro-Putin Russian sympathisers.

I didn’t enter into this conversation expecting your views to have any bearing on the world whatsoever.
November 8, 2025 at 9:09 PM
Ok, but what is your plan?

Will give him a look! Thanks!

What is your alternative plan?
November 8, 2025 at 8:04 PM
If we walk away and Russia invades Ukraine, it doesn’t stop there.

Putin has no intention of stopping there.

Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland etc. would all be at greater risk

The plan is to keep allowing Ukraine to defend itself and enhance their military capability while squeezing Russia’s economy.

If it takes a while, I’m fine with that.

What is your alternative plan?

I’ve already answered this

The main aim is stopping Putin taking control of more territory.
The more important aim is ensuring that Russia do not take any more of Ukraine’s territory.

Speak to Putin.
November 8, 2025 at 7:20 PM
At that start you claimed to want progressive, positive, and principled politics.

But it turns out you want the U.K. to stop supporting Ukraine because it’s expensive?

You want to leave Ukrainians at the mercy of Russia because it’s hard?
Where we might disagree just a little is that I don’t think Labour offer anything progressive or positive. In my view they are unprincipled liars. And their decline is to be welcomed.

What you have said is that the UK focus on itself and stop involving itself in other countries business.

This seems to imply you think the U.K. should stop supporting Ukraine

You haven’t given any reasons.

You’ve repeated Kremlin talking points about it being NATO’s fault that countries want to join NATO, and don’t want anything to do with Putin’s Russia.
