“We have sacrificed our national success because of our fear of immigration. And now, if Farage has his way, we'll do it all over again”

Superb, important analysis of the profound harm Farage does to our country in his rabidly racist and egotistical bid for power

Not sure how on earth the US survived the first 4 yr term of Trump, but I just can't see how they, or indeed the world, are going to survive this one.
The first yr is not even over yet, the real US is dead in the water & Putin is getting more dangerous every day.
Every Trump voter is responsible.

Not true.
Became an MP last year after years of trying.
Each time he fades, starts a new party & calls himself "God Almighty".
Oh and you lot fawn over him for some peculiar reason.
He's no political survivor, he just resurrects the same old racist bile from times gone by & the gullible cheer...
Opinion | "Leaders of other parties have been and gone. Competitors in his own been outsmarted and outlasted. He is one of Western democracy’s great political survivors," writes Paul Goodman trib.al/6Aymlym

Are Western leaders really defending us when Trump is clearly not engaged, with allies, NATO or even sanity?
Its time our leaders spoke the truth & admitted we're on our own.
The West minus the US is still formidable, we must just face up & pay for it.
Without security, the rest means very little.

Whether it’s dealing with Trump or fixing our relationship with Europe, the PM needs to start listening to Parliament and the public.

If he doesn't he may not be in the job for much longer.

All reasonable, decent people & those with at least half a brain, know that Putin wants to divide & defeat Europe.
He promotes far right loonies & other extremist views to enable this & destroy our democracies.
Trump, Brexit, Farage, it is all Putin.
This is a war.
Europe needs to treat it as so.
December 10, 2025 at 12:11 PM
We may not be perfect in Europe, but we are still democratic, still civilised, still compassionate, still loyal to our allies & friends.
Qualities, the US under you, cannot claim at all.
The Europe you falsely predict is the USA you have now created.
Moron.
President Trump

if Europe keeps going the way it's going, in my opinion, many of those countries will not be viable countries any longer.

As would any US President, except one that was pro Russian, gullible, or stupid.
In the case of Donald Trump, that being all three.
"Trumps peace plan" is really "Trumps surrender plan".

A shameful day for FIFA and football.
FIFA are as crooked and out of touch as ever.
Trump actually believes the football world admires him.
This is cheap, pathetic and an insult to all football nations.
And these vomit inducing displays, will likely get worse next summer...

Short-fused racist has tantrum at BBC for asking him about being a racist bully at school. Then tries to claim that Reform was given £9M by crypto billionaire, Harborne, for “absolutely nothing in return”.

That’s all that sorted then.
Racist *and* corrupt.

The Corbyn nutjobs are still out there lads. Chanting away for their beloved hero, Saint Jeremy The Blameless.

Trump & his buddies suck up to Putin, the man who in 2018 attacked, with a biological weapon, arguably the closest ally of the USA, little old us, here in the UK.
He then favours Putin over the innocent Ukrainians, who Putin attacks & attacks.
Trump is no ally, no friend, he is as bad as Putin.

Yep, the media need to call Farage out for what he is.
An absolute racist.
How about rather than demanding Farage issue shallow and insincere apologies, he urges the media to stop platforming a known racist bully?

As a victim of bullying I know which I'd prefer.

The absolute state of the BBC news just now - which seems determined to drag the government down over the budget.

Where was all this attention to minute detail and concern for absolute accuracy when the Tories were lying their way through their chaotic reign for 14 years? It's frankly absurd.
December 1, 2025 at 1:39 PM
No huge fan of R. Reeves, but she's better than the multitude of Chancers the Tories threw at us.
Calling for her resignation is just a Tory ploy encouraged by the biased media.
She's accused of doing what they all do, changing her mind & making political choices.
Meanwhile the world is on fire...

You can be sure if Badenoch had given the exact same budget & it had been Reeves who had spewed unnecessary, personal & pathetic insults at Badenoch, then the story from Kuenssberg & the BBC would've been the insults.
The fact that the bias of Kuenssberg, Mason & co goes unchecked is unbelievable.

For those in the UK, still with any doubt about the bias, the unfairness & the arrogance of BBC Tory Laura K, try watching a bit of her show today.
Count the times she interrupts Rachel Reeves mid sentence- I lost count.
Then count the times she interrupts Kemi Badenoch...
Zero.

The attacks on Labour from BBC News are now so relentless, day after day, minute after minute, putting headline negativity on absolutely anything they say, or do.

Are they now the official opposition?
