Yep and if the Government are not permitted to do that, then we and they, should put pressure on those that can, to do it.
Clear out the trash at the BBC and it will all be fine.

Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.
He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

The BBC has made big mistakes, but that came from individuals, not "The BBC".
We must defend our BBC.
If Trump & his Nazis come for the BBC, then we should ban X-Twitter, Facebook and all the other American medias spewing out hate and garbage in to our easily swayed masses (stupid people).

Re the Andrew previously known as Prince...
I've no sympathy for him at all, only the victims, but it's so hard to accept many Americans calling for more, when they've their own version of Andrew installed as President.
Sure, he should face justice, but so should that orange turd in the White House.

The relentless attacks on Starmer from the BBC (in particular Mason & Kuenssberg) & the other media goes on.
Yet we get Trump thrown down our necks every evening, without any correction or scrutiny.
Even Putin gets an easier time.
Despite all this, Starmer just gets on with the job.
I admire him.

Sick to death of bloody Tories calling for the head of Rachel Reeves.
Sunak actually broke the law and received a penalty and then you made him PM.

Sorry @theipaper.com but WHY is this guy talking to us about what will make the UK poorer? He was happy to grenade our economy twice…
Brexit and then his batshit budget with Truss.
He should be in political oblivion for the mess he made and the price we all have to pay for his party’s failures.

Listening to a German politician talking on BBC news & couldn’t agree more.
Time for Europe including the UK, to step up & act against Putin in defence of Ukraine. Also time to deal with Putin sympathiser/ ally Hungary.
Trump is not with us at all but Europe is still very powerful & rich… together.

If Europe and Ukraine didn’t have the support of the USA, what would we do?
Well whatever the answer to that is, that is what should be done, because there is no support, only negative support.
A Trump (Putin) USA is of no use whatsoever to Ukraine, Europe, or the US itself.

So pleased for the hostages & for the small reprieve for the people of Gaza (so far), but what utter bollocks Trump, world leaders & most of the media are spouting out from the middle east today.
Israel has stopped bombing Gaza for now and the remaining living hostages have been freed- That's it.

Proving once and for all the Labour Government is not Tory lite, nobody will ever agree with every Government policy but ditch Labour and this is what we'll get. The left and centre left majority in the Hoc need to fight against this together.

This lot are totally barmy and their close cousins at Reform HQ are even worse.
Labour might be getting some things wrong, while doing some things right, but please, please see that they and the other "normal" political parties, are a so much better option than these Tory/Reform crazies.

Jenrick delivers one of the most asinine speeches I have ever heard. He even brought along a prop, to explain how a judge becomes impartial setting aside personal views, then went on to attack judges for having views. His solution? Abolish tribunals. And who will adjudicate cases? Pfft. Details. ~AA

So "barmy" Badenoch speaks and the BBC seek out conference attendees that "just happen" to support her views, just like they did with "fruitcake" Farage.
When "sane" Starmer spoke though, they sought out only those critical of him.
Of course the BBC has no political bias though, do they?

Badenoch condemning Starmer for showing no success at turning around our battered country, just 15 months into Government and at the same time stating that her plans to turn around the dead Tory party will need more time to show results.
She's useless for the Tory Party but a gift to all the others.

What a sad and muddled country we are, when Farage rides high in the polls, while David Lammy is booed for attending an event to pay respect for victims of a terror attack.

Keir Starmer is not charismatic, he’s not flamboyant, or even a clown, but he did turn a dead Labour Party in to a governing party and then said he’d do the job without winning popularity contests, but it would take time to turn around those 14 years of hell.
He is a good man, give him time.

Always liked Labours Alan Johnson and his advice this morning to Andy Burnham is spot on.
"Get in front of a TV camera and say "I have no intention of standing against the elected leader of our party."
The problem being I suspect, is that Andy Burnham is only really interested in Andy Burnham...

Andy Burnham, the man who couldn't win two previous Labour leadership contests.
Actually losing to men who between them couldn't win a single GE, with 3 attempts between them.
Stick with Starmer Labour- he will come through again.

Andy Burnham,
You can be very talented & very caring, but when you are in "Andy Burnham promote my own political career" mode, you are a pain in the bum.
Get on with your own elected job & stop bragging about how popular & wanted you are.
You failed twice to become leader.
Stop stirring up shite.

As Trump falsely attacks all his allies and all the common sense in the world, it's time for people to speak up against him, whatever the consequences.
Presidents, PMs, Kings, religious leaders, the media and all politicians.
Time to call him out.
We all deserve that...
