One of the many reasons we have to fight the rise of the far right is the risk they pose to undoing the progress we *have* made.
Lot of people are already passing this around with the usual "WHY ISN'T ANYONE DOING ANYTHING" shrieks, while ignoring the fact that the article literally says that this is a *significant* decrease from the warming that we were on track for even a few years ago.

I remember in school some girls were genuinely happy to claim stuff marketed "for girls." Like for them it was a moment of THIS IS FOR ME and it made them happy. so fucking pissed I left the house for 15 minutes to run an errand, leave my dad in charge of the dogs, when I come back Enzo has fucking drank all the avocado oil used for hair. The fucking bottle is a joke it doesn't say anything about ingredients. It's Sunday there's no vet to ask about this😭🤬

I wouldn't call it good but it was surprisingly heartfelt and sincere, and it got right that there were mirrors in Mesoamerica, down to the detail that they were present in Teotihuacan. Would've been a fun book to read as a kid.
Am I going to watch a whole hour and a half of a direct-to-tv movie with Papyrus font and a $5 budget just so I can understand the beginning of The Librarians just so I can see more Noah Wyle stuff?

It's been one of those weeks where nothing too big happened but many little but important things went wrong together and I'm just exhausted and a bit sad since things seem to keep going wrong. Just one of those weeks.
