The unflinching energy with which people seem steely determined to make the world a sh*tt*er place for others and all is quite baffling. From Brexit to MAGA it's just so downright stupid. Anyway, I love this response.

It's not a coincidence that the four most damaging politicians of the last two decades (Cameron, Osborne, Johnson and Farage) are all the products of English public schools.

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

Smells like an attack, or an attempt to damage BBC to me..

Any decent British person should now go Stand Behind the BBC.

BBC may have made mistakes, but Britain and the World needs Proper Journalism.

drump, farbage, pfeffel, and russia will try to silence it. Dont let them.

Support The BBC!
"make no mistake: this is a demolition job. Farage, Trump, Johnson & the rest don’t want to see an improved, empowered, & well-run BBC. They want us trapped in a GB News hall of mirrors, where every reflection flatters the powerful & distorts any meaningful challenge . . "

Really feel like this has become a political witch hunt now to try and oust another working class woman from the Labour front bench team.

Feels like someone has 'got to' these vulnerable abuse survivors and exploiting them for political gain.

None of it sits right with me.
Four survivors call for Jess Phillips to quit as row deepens over grooming inquiry
They say they will rejoin the inquiry if Jess Phillips quits, but sources say she has the government's full support.

“Ignoring Elon Musk and hoping he goes away hasn’t worked. X can mobilise violent mobs onto Britain’s streets, financially support its leaders, and radicalise casual users of the site – and its owner has made plain his agenda. The government has allowed a problem to turn into a crisis.”
It’s time for Starmer to confront Elon Musk’s extremism
Tesla’s owner wants a “fight back” to create regime change in the UK. The government must stop indulging him and using his platform

Showrooms for ugly, dangerous cars will fall quiet; galleries for gaudy, laughable art will have to reconsider their value propositions.

But the rest of us might benefit, thanks to the property market.

But hang on, I hear (some of) you say... what about small boats? They're the main thing most politicians talk about after all...
So how DO small boat arrivals compare with legal migration?

Everyone should read this post then we look at the tabloids whipping up a storm about farmers when only approximately 500 are going to be affected as a society it’s a reflection on how we think and who our national media put first
On the streets of Liverpool, there is a humanitarian crisis

A perfect storm of problems means more and more people are finding themselves homeless & sleeping rough & it’s getting worse - it’s a situation playing out across the country

A difficult 🧵 on what I’ve found reporting on this situation

This is a great listen if you want to know more about what’s behind the farmers protests and who really owns England. 👇

It is bizarre to me that a small group of wealthy technocrats imagine they can run a complex organisation like the USA on an ' it's my way or the highway' agenda. I suspect Dominic Cummings will burst forth from the woodwork to climb aboard.
