The right-wing is losing its combined shit over the EU flag being shown as part of the London New Year fireworks.

Are they perhaps unaware that, as the UK is a member of the Council of Europe, the flag is perfectly valid?

Jake Richards: "The Tories have repeatedly avoided incredibly simple questions. I’ve asked them again👇

But it comes down to this: Lord Wolfson is working for both the Conservatives and for Roman Abramovich, a sanctioned Russian oligarch.

Will Kemi Badenoch and Robert Jenrick turn a blind eye?"

Addressing the real life impact of Brexit on the many who have cross border lives. Instead of binary thinking or asking why not make A, B or C your primary residence recognise lives are more complex. 40 plus years of EU membership have seen people build lives that transcend borders.

I think it was only projected onto our television sets, not onto the Eye itself, but quite a good effect anyway.

Don't you find it odd that there appears to be no record of such a significant decision?L

Hey remainers. We’ve really got to STOP saying we voted for this outcome.

Don’t give that lie any credibility.

1. **we** didn’t.
2. It was an advisory referendum.
3. Every democratic exercise after Brexit showed declining and minority support for Brexit supporting parties.

All the more reason to get on with it!
I can’t read the article, but if it’s talking about the SPS agreement, the idea that a large and technically complex arrangement of this sort could be negotiated in a few months was never plausible. David Henig estimated 3 years to negotiate and at least one to implement. No quick fixes.

Spot on.
Absolutely. But really, when you think about it, FOM is essential to make the other 3 freedoms useful. A seller of goods needs to be able to service them: needs FOM for people. An investor needs to be able to put people into his new factory: needs FOM. A professional wants serve clients in the EU.
