In case you thought bowing to Trump could somehow be turned into a welcome improvement

- That’s why it was. That’s why it’s happening now. Trump is in charge of the news you’re allowed to get now -
Note that still in post at the BBC is Robbie Gibb, who helped set up GB News, and John McAndrew, formerly director of news and programmes at GB News.

The thing is, “gender-critical” voices consider not telling them they’re right “censoring”
They want to eradicate any glimpse of recognition of gender
It’s like racists claiming they have a right to discriminate - and you have to agree
There’s no middle ground
It’s a choice btw erasing ppl or not
So the Telegraph’s “BBC bias dossier” - supposedly written by ex-BBC adviser Michael Prescott - is being used to claim there’s a rogue LGBT+ unit “censoring” gender-critical voices inside the BBC.

Let’s look at what’s actually in it. Spoiler: it’s nothing but recycled transphobic talking points!

🧵
For reference - Here’s the Telegraph article with the Prescott memo complaining about the BBC published in FULL.

Obviously, it’s an archived link which circumvents their paywall - as there’s no way I’m gonna give that transphobic rag any clicks or coin! 😣

This is Reform's plan for the whole UK FTR
Close public services so privatisation pals make a killing
Meanwhile, in Reform's Lancashire CC, the councillor in charge of care homes, owns a private care home, and is closing council care homes. 👀

"Like a bunch of gangsters": 100+ nations were set to approve a historic plan to slash pollution from cargo ships. Then the US stepped in. Diplomats were stunned by “nasty” and “very personal” threats, including blacklisting, financial penalties, tariffs, sanctions, and the revocation of US visas.

The NYT interviewed 40 men who were in CECOT.

They described being beaten, sexually assaulted by guards, driven to the brink of suicide. One said officers thrust his head into a tank of water to simulate drowning. Another was forced to perform oral sex on guards in hoods.

Trump did this.

What if we never do? Shutting down Congress fulfills a lot of wishes for the administration. They can act with total impunity with zero Dem interference. They can strip funds from literally everything. They can force essential workers to work for free. It’s a dream scenario?

This is the facility that I and many others have been protesting. We’ve been hit, thrown, gassed, and shot with pepper bullets but none of that holds a candle to what is being done to people *in* the actual facility.

Read this thread. Don’t look away. Keep your eyes and the pressure on Broadview.
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.
