Defend the liberty of a stranger as you would defend your own, or that of a loved one, because that is what's actually on the table—whether we are a society that will sit still as our neighbors are snatched in the night, and disappeared into darkness, or a society that will fight for each other.

PSA: you do not have to watch the news tomorrow. You do not have to keep track of everything day 1. This is a marathon not a sprint. Take care of yourself and spend time with friends and family. I'll be out on the slopes wfh my partner enjoying nature. They can't take our joy, I won't let them.

Men are being drawn in by the lies of fascists, attracted by delusions of power, and are instead receiving isolation and demands of subservience. We have to reject it all. The idea that power over others brings happiness is a lie. It brings disconnection.

I just published a new Luigi Mangione document the press is withholding, an NYPD intel report warning of “disdain for corporate greed" and the "online reactions to the shooting"

The federal charges against Mangione, which could result in death, underscore capital punishment’s arbitrariness. The death penalty has never been about just punishment, it’s about politics, posturing, & power.

The problem with this article is that the media hasn't been very empathetic here. This isn't a case of "white man kills family" and the photo is him jet skiing. The media has actually been trying pretty hard to shame everyone who is being empathetic to him.
The empathy is coming from social media.

This is a ULP (unfair labor practice) strike, not a boycott strike. Don’t initiate boycotts unless directed by workers — it packs a bigger punch!
Let’s all show our support by not buying anything from Amazon until they come to an agreement.
I stand with the unions!
Happening now: Amazon Labor Union workers and supporters are rallying outside JFK8 on Staten Island ahead of a midnight strike due to Amazon refusing to come to the bargaining table following a Dec. 15 deadline.

The police work for billionaires.

They’ll attack a strike, they’ll arrest protesters, and they’ll devote themselves to making CEOs feel safe.

Not only do cops defund our cities, they work overtime to stop us from building a better world.

You know what’s actually painful? Inaccessibility. Yes! It is causes real, physical pain. And it’s distressing, causing more pain.

On Wednesday - I filmed a peaceful protest in Bobst library for two hours.

Yesterday at 2pm while at home,
I received an email explaining that I’ve been designated “persona non grata” and banned from several buildings on campus.

hahahaha, we use murder every day to resolve our differences, we just call it preemptive self-defense and generally do it to poor people and people of color living in other countries. What a joke.
Josh Shapiro: "In America, we do not kill people in cold blood to resolve policy differences or express a viewpoint ... I have no tolerance, nor should anyone, for one man using an illegal ghost gun to murder someone because he thinks his opinion matters most ... he is no hero."

Telehealth was something disabled people had spent years begging for. It’s a game changer when you have an energy limiting chronic illness.

It’s hard to imagine any legitimate reason to remove it - it will cause harm.

Let patients access care in the way that is safest for them.
Most Medicare coverage for telehealth is set to end soon unless Congress acts. I reported on how this is a bad situation for the millions of people who rely on telehealth to more easily get medical care for @motherjones.com. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
