Ashlee is one of the best and someone needs to bring Ashlee on to their team to make it better than it was before. If I had the means to pay, I’d bring Ashlee on to my little team for my project in an instant. Ashlee knows her stuff!

Hire @ashleemboyer.com. Not because she had a hard year, but because she is damn good at what she does.

Can’t wait to read this new piece from @lizjackson.bsky.social and @fractalecho.bsky.social! These two are absolutely brillant.
New from @fractalecho.bsky.social and me. Our piece focuses on one person and organization, but it's about a seedy grift that permeates disability inclusion, in which those who aspire to “be the only” emulate those whose power they worship. buttondown.com/TYFYFL/archi...

My focus point was the huge amount of anxiety I feel when job/contract hunting.

I found a few connections to the why, and as for short term solutions, I realized I’m stuck in survival mode from losing my Grandma.

I’ve been shoving feeling down so long, I do it for all the feelings now.
Had my first brainspotting session today, never had anything like it or emdr before. Super fascinating. Good connections.

I wish I could just write and create and tinker and build. I’m simulataneously angry and sad I can’t. I wish I could figure out how to channel all that feeling into what I need to do. I feel stuck.

PSA this "joke" that ASL interpreters can't follow Trump is exceptionally unoriginal, not even remotely accurate, and so. fucking. annoying.

Here's 30 replies to ONE post. Just stop. Bc if you only mention #accessibility when you're trying to insult someone's intelligence, you're no ally to me.

In an extraordinary rebuke to Donald Trump, the Indiana state Senate rejected a gerrymandered congressional map pushed by the president that would have given Republicans a lopsided 9-0 advantage in the state’s House delegation.

I met a single mother this week who’s trying her best to keep Christmas alive in a hotel room. She and her three kids have been homeless for more than a month. “It’s gotta be something else for us.”

One way I didn’t know how grief like this can change you:

Every single movie and show I watch, the experience is completely different. If I’ve seen it before, it’s almost like watching for the first time again.
She is my first and last thoughts every single day. Every single day, such heavy thoughts. I love to picture her smile and laugh, even though those images quickly remind me of the cold permanence of her absence.

Extra hard week. No particular reason other than grief choosing to show up differently than last week.

Can’t go a minute lovingly remembering her without my brain promptly spiraling to thoughts of never seeing her again. 😔

When this "AI" bubble pops, the men pretending they weren't pushing the hype, like "critics" whose position is "AGI is real but LLMs aren't the way," who were in eugenicist and "AI existential risk"🙄 circles, will get specials discussing what they saw coming, when its the women who told you so.

Yeah a lot of people who don't pay attention to Disabled folks and Disability-related topics probably have similar takes.

It's actually part of a really fucking horrible trend from the current regime, though, to continue to reverse decisions made specifically because they increased accessibility.
Gotta admit "the font is DEI" is a stage of absurdity I could not have predicted

Does anyone know what was said/asked before what he said in this video?
