I prefer contract/freelance as a deaf, neurodivergent, and disabled person because it enables me to accommodate myself.
Most comms happen over text formats, my hours are more flexible, generally no expectations about online time.
My accommodations are written into policies. No accomm battles.

“Never gonna fully heal” is one the hardest things to try to fathom. “Time heals all wounds” just isn’t true, and I wish more people in my life talked about that growing up. Working a lot on that specific piece of acceptance right now.

Ty 💜 It is a very weird experience. Spirograph is an interesting way to think about it. Kind of… inconsistent, but predictable

Definitely got a big ol helping of anxiety. Unsure about the first bc I’ve never had it (but keeping an eye on it)
