This isn't a series of independent zero-sum games.

We don't need to win every battle. We do need to exact a price every time they raid our communities.

Reduce harm as much as you can. Make sure they leave more weary than they came.

Trust that comrades in other cities will pick up the baton.

They don't have capacity to terrorize more than 2-3 cities at a time.

Which means they rotate teams to new cities without relief.

Which means consistent resistance by fresh activists in each new city will break them over time.

Which means if you're city's not occupied, rest up and get ready.

:) interesting!
Every one of these announcements reads to me as "we don't have enough people and supplies to occupy more than one city at a time"
Also: " Border Patrol officials also plan to send all nonlethal weapons housed in Chicago to Minnesota, according to the documents."

I'm sorry, but I just think it's very telling when we differentiate between ICE's killing of American citizens versus undocumented immigrants. And I'm seeing that a lot right now.

he won't arrest anyone for murdering his constituents but he'll arrest you for being angry about it
Governor Walz says he's prepared to deploy the Minnesota National Guard if protests become violent in reaction to ICE fatally shooting a woman in Minneapolis.

"We will not take the bait," adds Walz, saying he's also angry but demonstrations should remain lawful.

It's so fucking convenient that they get to "fear for their lives" anytime they want to absolve themselves of anything and when we actually fear for our lives because of them and do anything a scared person would do it's justification for our death.

Repeat as often as necessary:

The violence that the Trump administration is perpetrating is not the consequence of the resistance that people are engaging in. It is the consequence of the fact that not enough people are engaging in resistance yet.

I'm sorry I keep harping on this but this really grinds my gears.

Do you or do you not care?

Was your problem with AI its ethics, or just the fact that it wasn't making things you liked yet?

Because if it's the latter, just go get Starbucks. You do not care about any of this.

Artists will keep being replaced and people will keep pretending to be outraged and then something will be released that makes them sad but In A Meaningful Way and they'll go "oh but it was only for" and it'll turn out it was only for a job that was previously done by a person.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is proof to me that AI will punch a hole clean through the entire art spectrum because as soon as it was used in something that made you feel something, 90% of so called critics went out of their way to go "well I think it's acceptable in this case"

Sorry I think using AI for placeholders is also bad
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know you only care about finished art but placeholder art also needs to be made by a human being who also needs to be paid for that

But placeholder midjourney slop cuts that artist out
