They've just said that they may declare the train unsafe and make everyone standing get off. Thankfully I managed to get a seat.

The weather has sharply changed to that sort you'd get when you were on your way to school, ruminating on how the Christmas Holidays still seemed impossibly far away, and you'd glance out of the window to see some kids who were visibly not headed for school and think dark retributory thoughts.
