Michelle Mone can be expelled from the House of Lords by a simple majority vote in the Commons, and then in the House of Lords.

Like if she needs to go.
RT if she has to go.

I was once sceptical about the value of juries but I've learned through the trans work how shabbily our institutions treat those without privilege and fear their passing.

Like the Supreme Court's judicial roll back of human rights, this change to our justice system will hit the weakest hardest.

Despite the propaganda (lies) spewed by so many including the show Landman, the average time it takes for a wind turbine to offset it's carbon footprint (construction, installation, maintenance, etc) is around 5 months. and a typical wind turbine typically generates energy for 25 years.

These entitled, privileged, sociopaths need to be taken down and made accountable for their actions for once. They have polluted our lives for long enough.
Sack Sir Robbie Gibb from the BBC board
Robbie Gibb said if he doesn't get his way, he'll blow the BBC up. It's ridiculous that a man like that has a spot on the BBC's board. Our public broadcaster MUST be independent. Agree? Sign to get Gi...

Trump judges rule presidents can exile reporters for "wrong opinions" First Amendment stops at Oval Office door. DOJ argued banning citizens from White House tours based on politics is legal. As a veteran who defended the Constitution, watching courts dismantle it for a dictator makes me rage-sick.

Hearing John Redwood complaining that the Green Party's policies will drive deindustrialisation in the UK is rich coming from someone who served in a Thatcher cabinet which oversaw the biggest deindustrialisation ever in the UK.

⚫️ Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine:

What some websites and social media platforms are broadcasting regarding the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine boosting its military capabilities within Syrian territory is a fabricated report, wholly and entirely, without any basis in truth.

One thing that fiction, and even the press, tends to get wrong about fascism is how incompetent they are and how much they hate each other.

Even now they're fighting each other.

Best understood, Labour's attack on juries, as a further lurch towards authoritarianism. Who, now, will stand in the way of a State that wants to imprison its opponents?

I guess, in true Tory style, we lacked friends in high places. Britain is such a shitshow - and the liar Michael Gove is the very worst of it.
In 2021 Good Law Project went for an Orwell Prize for uncovering the Covid PPE VIP lane - an issue which helped bring down the last Government. We didn't even get shortlisted - one of the judges was a Director General under the last Government working on... the Covid response. 😂
I’m a past winner of the Orwell Prize & won partly because I exposed Vote Leave’s unlawful activities.

Michael Gove was its co-convener & refused to answer a single q. He’s now a judge of the prize & our world is truly one that Orwell would recognise

They don't have a plan.
There is NO way around the massive Iceberg that is Brexit, except to approach the EU & begin formal meetings to rejoin the EU.

Brexit has literally broken Britain.

Until they accept that fact, anything they or any other party says is utter bullshit.

Tyson is closing a Nebraska plant that employs 3,200 workers in order to “right-size” its business.

The meatpacking giant paid its CEO $22.7M last year, 525x its median employee's pay.

It also spent $196M in stock buybacks to reward shareholders.

Textbook corporate greed.
