The financial power of Europe could crush the pathetic fossil fuel economy of Russia if the political will is there. Europe should tell the US that if it tries to force Ukraine to surrender to a despot, that they will fill the weapons gap and the US will be known as an appeaser of dictators.

The bottom line for the US and the UN regarding Russia's invasion of Ukraine should be that Russia leaves all sovereign Ukraine territory. The world cannot be seen to reward military aggression, otherwise its a green flag for other countries to invade neighbours or other territories they covet.

The Mayor of London has told me in public just now he supports scrapping the two child benefit cap - when the Chancellor can afford to do so.

Trump's plan to end the war between Russia and Ukraine is to tell Ukraine to give Russia whatever it wants. Maybe it's time for the rest of Europe to call it out for what it is. Total surrender.

It's beyond belief that the draft-dodging Trump has shifted the so-called 'defender of Western free-world democracies' to now being the partner of autocratic dictator regimes who want to destroy Western democracy.

The UK has all its priorities wrong. What should be done: Tax the rich, not the poor , encourage immigration we need the work force, get rid of unelected house of lords, plus monarchy needs shrinking down preferably pensioned off. Scotland needs independence.

Time to stop all this leeching off the public purse. No lifetime pension and free security for ex-PMs. Let them pay for their own security if they're that bothered. They can afford it.

We in the UK top that list. Margaret Thatcher privatised everything and now we pay top whack for utilities, railways, etc. Now the private companies rip us off, whilst letting everything fall apart.
