It's crazy how often I have to use an inflation calculator to adjust, in my mind, how much stuff should cost or how much people should be paid.
Simple things like "6 years ago I would've been paid $2800 USD for this, how much is that now?"
It's $3600.
That is not an insignificant amount of money.

I honestly believe these massive corporations are opening themselves up to a bunch of mini-major studios starting up and eating their lunch over the next 5-10 years, simply by being too top heavy, out of touch, and completely misunderstanding what audiences want and are willing to pay for.
