Talked with my mom on the phone today, and she told me she has started doing knee push-ups (she just turned 63) because she got inspired by my strength training progress
And she was able to do 2 sets of 10 knee push-ups, *so* cool!💪🔥 This made me so happy aaah

Turns out I'm babysitting her and another adorable cat next week already, this year is starting out great
I think I made a new friend today at the New Year's party, I was told this cat is very reserved, easily spooked and shy, but once she gathered the courage to approach me she was just the most adorable, gentle and affectionate little cat. I spent a lot of time petting the cats there, 10/10 party ✨

One more thing which might be encouraging to some folks: back when I didn’t know a lot about strength training and had never tried it myself, I thought you had live at the gym to get visible results, but for the first 6 months or so, I trained 2 times/week with a fullbody program
I've been training at the gym for 1 full year now! 💪✨ I've been looking at my old progress photos again as I'm starting my 2nd year to motivate myself so here's my back at the start of January 2025, then at the end of May so around the halfway mark, and now in January, one full year of progress✨

This year, I continued to focus on my well-being and health. When I compare my current life to where I was last year during this time of the year, a lot has changed for the better and I'm so happy about that. Art had to take a back seat sometimes, but I still kept drawing as well🖤

Bought my cat treats containing catnip and they definitely affected her, she came to me after eating them and first rubbed her face on my toes very enthusiastically and then she very randomly tried to bite my toes (100% playfully tho), which isn't normal behaviour for her. She's a sensitive cat aw
