We need to be setting up every available kind of portable, prefabricated, or easy to set up shelter that is possible in Gaza. Get people out of the flood water and into the first real shelter they have had in 2 years.

I used to study here, but now the rain has flooded everything, and I genuinely have nowhere to go. In a world that speaks so much about human rights, I can’t even find a safe place to study. This should be the bare minimum for every human being—but in Gaza, even that is taken away :(

Mass snow has made the driveway (about 0.5km) pretty impassable. Mr has had to haul groceries by hand up the hill, wrecking his already-broken body.
So, yesterday, I dug out a snow shovel & spent hours digging it out enough to drive up. Now I'm wrecked, too.
He has demanded I rest today. Good man.

This is a important conversation to have. It is incredibly expensive and time consuming to care for the elderly and for people with disabilities. We need lower care costs and higher govt support that doesn't require completely draining assets to get care.
