Had a dream I was told I had to take my GCSE exams again, aged 50. But it was ok because 'we have toilet breaks every 15 minutes and the papers are in large print'

Seeing him enter the Bull and Bush, order a glass of champagne, and then watching him leave and walk home with it…..remains the highlight of my life. RIP
Rest in peace, Henry Kelly. As my tribute, here's that time I changed the opening of your Wikipedia page so it was worded like a Going for Gold question

Went a couple of weeks where I was checking Bluesky as much as Twitter. That's tailed off again so now I'm only looking every few days. It's just too much admin 🤷‍♂️

In the 80s there were still a lot of 5 digit phone numbers in the area I lived. We used to call 54321 and shout 'blast off' at whoever answered. If you had that number in the Norwich area at that time, it was me/us and I'm very sorry.

Princess Diana, who planted a tree in memory of a pupil who had died from leukaemia. Before that she sat on the stage and looked shy while we sang hymns, oblivious to the fact that in the weeks prior they had painted all the corridors they knew she'd walk down and left the rest of the school to rot.

133. Who is the most impressive celebrity that ever came to your school?

For reasons that are lost to the ages, that I couldn't figure out at the time and can't in retrospect, Ian St. John. He just sort of laughed at his own jokes in assembly then vanished.

Sad news. He was great on Whose Line. Being an Edgware resident he was a local boy, along with Pat Sharp and Frank Williams (the vicar from Dad's Army). I wonder if they ever all met up for coffee? RIP.

I did this out the window of a steam train in Australia once, at a load of people watching it go by. Got big laughs. Best day of my life 👍
Whenever I'm in the back of an Uber or taxi, I'll wave at random people in the same style as Queen Elizabeth II. Elbow at 90 degrees, palm cupped inward, in a circular motion. I'm a 51 year old man.
