An emergency alert telling me to take cover because of an earthquake in Nevada, which wouldn't have affected me even if it existed, which it did not. Apparently @usgs-quakebot.bsky.social hallucinated a M5.9 earthquake.

Data Centers need classified usage permits and that needs to be part of the voting process. Need centers for developing a cure yes, developing AI for playtime or profits no. If people don't know then their vote is mute. The power brokers of profiteering know this truth of terminology manipulation!

There's a reason why TikTok is banned in China.
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.
