Periodic reminder to never donate a single cent to the Red Cross. When they're not actively enabling war crimes, they both-side a war of aggression.
Recent strikes on critical infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia have left millions of people with little or no electricity, water, and heating amid freezing temperatures in Kyiv, Dnipro, Donetsk, Belgorod & other areas.

Ariane Bauer, ICRC regional director for Europe and Central Asia, shares more.

Now 37 years free from the brutality and decay of Moscow's grip, Poland continues to prosper.

The nationwide survey of well-being, now showing only 5% consider themselves doing badly, down from about 60% in the early 1990's.

“We cannot permit the sovereignty of Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan,” — the Kremlin’s key ideologue, Alexandr Dugin said in a podcast.

But please, tell me more about how Russia merely doesn’t want NATO to expand into Tajikistan. 🤡

These are all good things to have, but framing it as a plan to increase birth rates is kinda clueless.

Spain has had all of these for decades. And huge financial incentives for large families. And one of the world's lowest birth rates at 1.12. Same in the Nordic countries.
leftist plan to increase the birthrate:

- universal health care
- free child care
- better paid family leave
- better workforce protections so they can't lay you off while you're pregnant and be like "no it was for something else i swear"

ok i did it

As birthrates tumble, some progressives say the left needs to offer ideas and solutions
The US and other countries face aging, shrinking populations. Conservatives have shaped debate over the issue. Some liberals say it's time for progressives to weigh in.

It's not a money issue. California taxpayers already spent $20B on California High-speed Rail with nothing to show for it. Total forecasted cost of $130B in 15 years. Similar size lines are completed in 3 years for $5B in Europe, or in 1 year for $1B in China.
Here in the U.S., we spend our money on the wrong things. If we cut our military budget in half, we'd still overspend on the military, but we'd have better infrastructure, medical care for all, and other nice things we are currently cursed from having.
