I was today years old when I learned what dyscalculia was, and how there's no way in hell that I DON'T have it.
I can see an 8k resolution apple with every single color, bead of condensation, color variance, etc inside my head if I need to paint an apple, but I CAN NOT do simple mental math.

This is heartbreaking. No one should have to go through this, but especially to see it aimed so constantly at children is violent and cruel. We all have a sacred responsibility to stop this. No one should have to live under this weight.
As a parent of a trans kid, part of what shatters my heart is that The Discourse around trans kids is just loud and constant. She has good framing, but the barrage of hate is exhausting. Every day for her is so much more work than for her peers, because she has to hold up her shields constantly.

At best, I would say that while the feds are unlikely to have the capacity to investigate and surveil every trans person any time soon, we should absolutely expect and prepare for a heightened threat environment now
