Reminder that covid can cause damage to the immune system. People vaccinating less isn't the only reason we are seeing a rise in viruses, although that is certainly a problem too.

I feel weird having Twilight Sparkle as my pfp here, knowing her voice actor is not a good person, but I have to remind myself that the character and people who created her are not her voice actor. I swear people either don't read past my first photo in my tiktok post and some also just really miss the point of why it's important to acknowledge medical masks and gaiters 🧊 are wearing are not the same thing. Also, weird ppl keep thinking 🧊 only dresses one way.

PSA Neck gaiters are not masks. Neck gaiters are not effective at stopping the spread of airborne viruses. Masks, especially well-fitting ones are effective at preventing infection. Conflating the two is bad because it can encourage politicians to ban masks for the general public.

I took a very rare trip to two stores yesterday because I made it early in the morning when less ppl were shopping, and although not a ton, I was happy to see some people wearing masks in both stores. In the county next door, my family usually sees zero masks though aside from some ppl working.

Can people please stop defending immigrants just by mentioning jobs they have? A person's value is more than how they contribute to capitalism. I saw the same thing in April with ppl trying to defend autistic ppl, but based on how ppl contribute to capitalism.

I'm disappointed seeing mutuals use AI. Some creative people such as musicians and cosplayers I follow have posted AI too and it's making me sad.

Since I've been back home from Japan, I've noticed the quality of food in California, especially fruits and vegetables, are slowly going downhill. I don't like this. The quality used to seem similar to Japan and now it's making me miss fresh produce there.
