I will never forget the rage I felt at finding out that Walensky and Jha sent their children to schools with advanced ventilation systems while encouraging the rest of us to send our kids (and ourselves) back to regular schools without mitigation. mronline.org/2022/09/28/h...
How Ashish Jha and Rochelle Walensky of Newton, MA protect their children from Covid (but not yours) | MR Online
Built on seven hills, Newton was one of America’s earliest commuter suburbs.

I forgot to mention that even in the US, without insurance, it costs about $200 for the covid vaccine. Anyways, if you want more, some good people to listen to on this are crutches and spice, Dr lucky tran, and physics girl (she has severe ME from covid).

Not everyone in the world has access to vaccines even if their body can handle it, especially outside of the US, and who knows if it will still be available in the US in the future. Wearing a mask and air purifiers are our best strategy now. We shouldn't just run away and ignore our problems.

Also reminder that not everyone can get vaccinated. I can't get any sort of injection including local anesthesia or xolair due to how severe my MCAS is because of covid. And covid can compromise the immune system, making vaccines not work so well. Plus you can get long covid while vaccinated.

Getting covid is the reason I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user, had to quit work, and drop out of uni. I have severe MCAS and can rarely leave my home. I have moderate/severe ME/CFS and there's so many who are suffering more than me who can't even get basic necessities. Everyone is at risk for this.

Someone I used to be friends with was asked what her opinion was on Israel, and her answer was "I don't like to be political on here." 🤦 Yet she has posted stuff against ICE and other stuff against the US government. Very upsetting where people decide to draw the line.

can't say enough that like I Get What They're Going For

but i'd bet whoever wrote this doesn't wear a respirator at the grocery, the pharmacy, on transit—at least these essential public indoor spaces. & for why? to avoid the stigma masks carry? is that not cowardly?
It's been another quiet morning at Chicago's immigration court. We have not seen any feds on the premises. Activists are handing out flyers and chalking the sidewalks.

ICE hasn't returned to attempt any arrests since autonomous protesters established a constant presence here last Monday.

I recently just made a post about this on TikTok, and some people are getting upset at me for saying this. It's really frustrating. I'm also being told I'm reaching, "not everything is about you", and I keep getting told that it's obvious I don't look like🧊. Idk how they r missing the point.

Also I should mention, after being out of the house yesterday, I ended up needing to sleep for 4 hours, and an hour after being awake again, I had to lay down again. ME/CFS and MCAS suck. I also barely could walk in the second store. I wished I had my wheelchair.

Covid is low based on waste water in that county I was shopping in, but medium in the county next door so I wonder if that's why. My dentist is in the county with lower covid, and they require patients and staff to mask unless getting worked on of course, & they aren't the only one in that county.

My mother got raspberries last week and I couldn't find a single one that looked edible to me. I have to be careful due to my MCAS and compromised immune system. This week my grandparents bought strawberries and every single one looked bad. I originally was going to give one to my bunny.
