The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

Seriously, for a while now we have villains who accurately identify a real problem in the real world and their solution is to wipe out half the population or destroy humanity to save the planet and the hero’s essentially just want to … keep things the way they are.
Yeah, I’m tired of the “oppressed person who wants to tear down the system” villian trope. Make them the hero. FYI, Nimona is a great movie version of that if you’re looking for one.
