every generation before mine ruined the world. millennials couldn't assist the ruination because capitalism crushed our dreams and the dreams of zoomers and alphas.

you don't get to blame us for not enjoying our suffering *and* tell us you're the best. fuck you. eat me.

I want to stress here that Tracy Beth Høeg, new head of CDER—seen here being promoted by Children’s Health Defense, the anti-vax group Robert Kennedy Jr. founded—has zero expertise in vaccines.

She is a sports medicine doctor.

Did you know that before Nixon and Reagan, health insurance companies in America were non-profit? Yep, they screamed about "socialized medicine" and gradually shifted the focus of our entire healthcare system from public welfare to... making bucks off illness.

But it’s definitely not a cult.

What's most galling is Wurman and Barnett aren't stupid. They both know exactly how dishonest this is. Whatever their motives, and I don't really care, they're not doing scholarship in any of this. They're willful liars abusing their credentials in an aid of a lawless attack on fundamental rights.
The evidence is the text. All you have to do is read the Constitution.

In the era of slavery, free black people had to carry their "free papers" with them so they could prove to the authorities that they were free, or else they would be thrown in jail and sold.
BASH: If ICE says it doesn't arrest US citizens, why do we keep seeing incidents of them aggressively pursuing citizens?

HOMAN: I can't tell you how many times an illegal alien claims to be a US citizen. It happens all the time.

My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

THREAD: It was supposed to be a routine surgery. So when the doctor stepped out, Sandra Parker wasn’t sure she heard right.

Her husband’s heart couldn’t have stopped for more than 5 or 6 minutes, the doctor was saying.

“That’s not a lot of time,” Mrs. Parker thought. “Is it?”

If you witness ICE activity, call Monarca 612-441-2881. The number can also accept texts.

BASH: But he's not just an individual. He's the president calling an entire community garbage

It’s been quite something to watch the “presumption of liberty” guy trash his reputation and legacy just to piss on immigrants and prop up a corrupt and clownish autocrat.
Anyone who knows this history should know there’s no contested issue.

It's the year 2077. All movie studios belong to Netflix. Cinemas only play trailers for their streaming catalog. Every franchise is canceled after two movies/seasons, on mandatory cliffhangers. Nothing from before 2002 is available. Owning physical media is punishable by death. Netflix is love.

So, to all the "RFK's got some good ideas" folks (Rachael Bedard, Leana Wen) and Jay Bhattacharya is "an excellent choice for NIH" (Steven Macedo, Frances Lee) and Vinay Prasad "will bring a breath of fresh air to FDA" (Adam Cifu, John Mandrola) groupies--you own this now too.
I think the *speed* at which RFK Jr and his Great Barrington Declaration/anti-vaxx/Brownstone wrecking crew have been dismantling the US public health system has been really astonishing
Well, Senators Bill Cassidy and Thom Tillis, you wanted RFK Jr. to “go wild” at HHS.

Congratulations. You’ve achieved your goal. He is well on his way to completely destroying the US vaccine program.
