An outstanding concurrence from Chief Justice Karofsky explaining that Wisconsin’s abortion ban, if allowed to be enforced, would inflict heinous cruelty on women indicative of “the world gone mad.”

A truth to which SCOTUS sadly closed its eyes.

So many thoughts on the return of Paul.
It is interesting that when attacking this you don't say "missing middle"
He also seems uninterested in a homeowners "right" to build an ADU. Only the right to stop their neighbor from building one

Paul feels “intimidated” because the mythical “far-left Uniparty” is threatening his “single-family home owner rights.” If there was ever truly a powerful “Uniparty” it’s whiny rich single family home owners. They even control newspaper editors! 😂

My family owes everything to America's acceptance of a refugee named Nicholas Pritzker on its shores over a century ago.

My story, however, is not unique — our state and nation have been strengthened by people from across the globe seeking freedom, opportunity, and refuge here.

New Quinnipiac poll gauges national sentiment on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act: Two-thirds of registered voters have heard/read "a lot" or "some" about it. Support is 27%, opposition is 53%, and 20% had no opinion. Among independents it's 37 points under water.

"Abundance"--aka getting big shit built quicker--and fighting oligarchs and corporate power are not in opposition.

This is just an exceedingly stupid position that some have taken up, honestly mostly to preserve their own sources of funding or klout.

There's just a portion of the left that, despite bountiful evidence everywhere, thinks that building more housing is bad.

That is a fundementally insane position. Had more housing been built when interest rates were at record lows, we'd be far far better off now.
